Well a fantastic match must be on as it is silent on my street!!!

Only 2 and a bit weeks till the hols for both of us. You will escape from neighbours and can have fun with grand dog!! And i am moving into Portsmouth for a month and i shall be keeping busy walking, having fun, going on day trips and most importantly, eating!!! It will be glorious - the best reason for being a teacher!!!

Yes, I am really looking forward to going away. It's actually 3 weeks on Sunday - am spending a few days with son's family (and little grand-daughter) before they go away for 2 weeks. Don't think I am going to want to come home!

Bet you are looking forward to getting your house makeover!

    Hi everyone.

Have been 'lurking' on and off during the day. I promised myself that I would do my chores etc and not go on the laptop.!! So I 'lurked' every so often.

Hope you are all okay and enjoying the weather. Its been a bit cooler here in Yorkshire, but have still got the washing dried and ironed and even put away. I have flicked on and off the tennis whilst I have been finishing some knitting off. Just had tea, very MSE...beans on toast.!! Thank goodness its payday tomorrow.

Just having a cup of tea, then a bath and see if I can find something other than football on the telly to watch.

May pop back later, if not tomorrow after work.

    Hi Elsie,

I have been lurking as well!

And I know what you mean about not going on the laptop - it can be very addictive. Am currently watching the Nadal game while I type this! Thought the football had finished now until the weekend - it seems to go on forever!

I love beans on toast - think they are nutritious, as well as economical?

I really fancy a bacon sandwich but i am being healthy!!!

I do love the summer, even i feel happy today!!!

I do hope something is on the tv. I really fancy a good show or maybe i could watch a film.

I am looking up lots of day trips for when i move into Portsmouth so i stay occupied in the hols. This year i am going to make the most of the hols as we do not know what is going to happen to the economy next year.

I'm here now. I had a (very) minor op at the health centre this afternoon then watched the football. I was really hoping that New Zealand would go through but they didn't. Italy are out which is a big shock as they won the World Cup the last time.

Goodness, so I do now you have mentioned it!

I do hope something is on the tv. I really fancy a good show or maybe i could watch a film.

I recorded "Outnumbered" last night so am going to watch that in a bit.

This year i am going to make the most of the hols as we do not know what is going to happen to the economy next year.

That's a very good point. Hope you find some nice places to go - a day trip to the Isle of Wight?
