is there any chance you could sell to a housing association? But they may not give you the full value? It is worth investigating.

I often think it's me - but all my visitors comment on it!

Never mind, am off to son's soon for nearly 3 weeks house-sitting (and animal) sitting - pus am staying a few extra days to spen some time with my little grand-daughter - so looking forward to that!

Yes, and they often look quite grubby - as if they haven't been washed properly!

    I had thought of that!

May I ask them - I do have a complaint registered with them and am trying to get someone to come and talk to me about them!

Trouble is, they aren't very nice people - don't think they work! (But don't want to get political about this!)

And you can imagine how annoyed I was when they complained to ME about the fence - especially as they said they wanted to stop their dog getting into my garden!

They have 2 children, a dog and numerous cats in a 2 bedroom house!

    End of another rant!

Oxford is so pretty. I do hope you can move there. I have not been for ages. It would be the perfect place for retirement, just think it would be like Inspector Morse!!!

I have been the last few days looking into these buy and rent back schemes, but am not interested in doing this now, I don't feel I could trust them, so unless its government run that should be okay I think.
Like through your local housing dept etc.
