Good luck to your son Di, my fingers are crossed.

    Hi Pixie,

    Good to hear from you!

Hope things are well with you!

It's (finally!) very hot here so am chilling out watching the tennis and trying not to feel guilty about not doing very much.

Had a busy morning with my letters, though!

Not sure what is happening football-wise - are you only watching the England games?

Just heard on the car radio (on the way back from the Post Office!) that even the French people don't want the French to win now!

    Is this really true???

    It wouldn't surprise me Ann.

Hi Ann. Yes things are ok (still skint and unemployed though.)

I've been out in the garden because I'm a real sun worshipper.

I had to come in to call the Jobcentre because I haven't had my JSA put in the bank (again!) and I'm waiting for them to call me back.

I didn't watch many games last week because I was preparing for my interview but I've been watching the evening ones since and catching up with the others on Match of the Day 2 (don't like 'wasting' the sunshine - we don't get enough!)

    That's great Pixie,

Desmond Tutu was on the radio getting so excited about "his" team
that it makes you want them to win just because of the sheer enthusiasm.

Which it would appear is very lacking in the England team .....

    Oh bless, Pixie.

Please try not to let it get you down! (And I hope that doesn't sound patronising!)

I know what you mean about the sunshine - but not really a sun worshipper myself!

Nearly fell asleep in front of the tennis.

Now waiting for the postie ....

Going back outside - I hate being inside when it's sunny. I'll just have to take the phone with me.

I'm back and forth outside, have both the parasol and the Gazebo up, and its lovely when we have the breeze, my youngest is out there now with his laptop, I smothered him in factor 50 sunscreen, made him wear his cap lol.:D
