Hi,
I am moving to Boston in the USA next month and require a short minimum term pay monthly contract over there.
I would like at least 1000 texts, 500MB data and at least 300 mins on a SIM only contract if this is possible. I would like to keep using my iPhone on the Vodafone network (Verizon in the USA), although I understand this presents some difficulty as iPhone plans are available only on the AT&T network.
I'd really appreciate some recommendations for this. Obviously keeping my iPhone in use might be a bit ambitious (but maybe I'll come back with the iPhone 4
) so if I could be pointed in the right direction for a cheap short minimum term contract for the requirements above I'd be really greateful

I don't think they do short term contracts in the US?
I've never seen any, tend to be the same as here, 18/24 months.
You can get a pagy sim in most drug stores, or Target, Walmart ect. That might be your only option if you only need it for a short while ?0 -

Go on the Vodafone website and look for the SIM only plans. Note the 30 day minimum term for a SIM only contract. Excellent idea! I know Vodafone pioneered this idea over here and T-Mobile are also offering something similar, so was hoping Verizon and AT&T would have jumped on the same bandwagon.0 -
Totally forgot about sim only, sorry.
Verizon, I think are a CDMA carrier and don't use sim cards (or they didn't).
AT&T do use sims but I can't find any recent info on contract terms and length, sorry.0
