I am going to change my wireless network name as suggested rather than leaving it as the router make

EDIT - if I change my WPA key to a random one will I need to remember what it is for a future reference

Hi slowen. First of all, if you're using the Acer from Comet take a look at your first post about setting up wireless. I posted on there about the Acer Client Utility, but I don't think you saw it:

Yes, you'll need to remember your WPA key "just in case" something goes wrong and your computer "forgets" the key.

It's always stored in your router config, so should you ever need it you can go to 192.168.1.1 with a wired connection and copy and paste it onto a pc.

Or stored it in a txt file (notepad).

Or just go to https://www.grc.com/passwords and get another one if you forget it. and copy and paste it into the router and PC config - that whole process should take less than a minute.
