The rabbit won't give a toss what it lives in as long as it's warm and dry. You don't need other people's opinions as to whether to buy it. If you like it and can afford it then that is all that matters.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Well that wasn't really the point of the post..i did ask..was wondering if anyone knew of one similar in size?
I am not overly keen on the layout of it as the bed looks like it is on the floor?

    Thanks

    We have this one
It's huge and our 2 bunnies are very happy with it. It's been in the garden 2 years so far and still looks great

Wow that is one big hutch. Our bunny was happy in a DIY hutch made from two tea chests. He did not actually spend a lot of time in it as we had a walled in garden. Unfortunately, he died three years back and we still miss him :icotbaske

Hi that is the one we liked to begin with BUT too big in width..we need that but narrower..any ideas?! as you can see it is similar to the first station! one which is just oddly set out imo..doesn't the bed bit in the fire one look like it just situated on the floor of the hutch, therefore there would be hay everywhere?!

Gorgeous bunny! sorry he is no longer around.
Ours now has free run of the garden but our youngest cat has taken a shine to him and i can see him getting hurt, the garden is secure but he goes in a big run we have..i would ideally like to get rid of the run and have a bigger hutch but width is always a prob, then he can go out when the cat is in!

Aaaah seriously how hard can buying a hutch be! me d and dh cannot agree on one and it is causing stress!

    I like this one:

It's perfect in size..can be changed around if need be and added to if need be..went to order it this morning and it went out of stock..grr, contacted them and just have to wait but it may be a while. Can anyone find me this anywhere..we can't!

Again lovely BUT would have to go on the grass, like dh said the rabbit doesnt need the height of that one really unless he is to learn to fly!..

So first one on the patio or second one on the grass?, when we put this current one on the grass we regretted it as it completely ruined the garden with the rabbit digging and the wear and tear walking to him..hated it so am put off getting this..could put slabs under it i guess? how do others find it?

I know some of you think 'who cares' but as far as im concerned he is still an animal at the end of the day and i want him to have the best life really..lots of room to move etc. Maybe this should have gone on the pet bit..didn't think sorry!

    Thanks
  • The minimum size for a hutch should be L6ft H3ft and D3ft. You really should not consider anything smaller.

My bunnies (i have 10) are all kept free range in an aviary.

Please make sure that you put bolts on all the doors and the foxes are very good at opening the catches and helping themselves
