virgin media sign up - how long?

19th May ordered online
19th May recieved my order email
3rd June recieved email asking to send them documents
5th June emailed them documents to the webteam email as there is 'no email at bottom of page' like they said
9th June waiting for the next step - arrange a date to install.

I originally booked either 17th or 23rd June when i signed up on 19th May, will I still get one of these or have to wait longer?

I've never signed with Virgin before only Tiscalli and Telewest (just as Virgin were taking over)

I ordered and got it installed a week later, no documents, maybe they are not happy with your credit rating

It's in my OH's name has little if any credit

Might take that bit longer then to do checks. Does seem like a long time though

It'll depend partly on the workload they have currently got & the type of install needed.

To expand on what I posted before,If the is already VM/NTL/Teleworst services in the home,then the job can be done by a one man crew but if the are no services installed,then it's a two man crew.
The are far more one man crews than two man crews so if it's already installed & requires a one man crew then it'll be done quicker than if a two man is required,especially as the two man crews not only do installs,but repulls & jobs that are too big for the one man crew.

just received the same 'please send xx documents' but this time with the right email address to send to so hopefully this will speed things up.

No virgin installed the current tenants have sky.

I picked two days 1 month after my sign up date so we are moving into the property this weekend.

Everything has been sent to their consumer underwriting team, which sounds strange, sounds like a loan lol

UPDATE:

Just got the email I've been waiting for and we get everything installed on 23rd June! we are going from V+ to V+HD - it's free with orders now, think it was just V+ when we ordered.
