Weds 9th June - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :T
Morning All!!!
i am exhausted! DD got up about 5am so came in with me and pretty much kept me awake! then i came downstairs and feel asleep on the sofa!!
Just 2 more work days then a week off - that should get me through
Second day of not doing the cross traner
I'll have to make up for it tonight
Yesterday gas and electric D/D went down by £9 and broadband/phone package got changed and that saves us £8 a month! So an extra £17 a month. Covers my swimming costs
Right today
Be productive at work
lunches from stores
Dinner from mealplan - beef casserole
Hokey Cokey
check banking
write a list for camping trip
surveys
scratches
finish work a little early to collect DD
Quick shower to save money on water
Exercise
Not a huge list but i am tired and have work

Aiming for NSD#3! I've got a good feeling about it. Just had a filling bowl of porridge with raisins and got pesto pasta for lunch at work so there will be no snacking! The fear of the bridesmaid dress is fast approaching - 3 days to go!
Also going to:
- email a couple of friends not phone:money:
- call dental school about going on the list for next year's dental students
- update my sparkly new diary! :T
- do the dishes as soon as I get home when the water should still be hot.
- see how much all the foreign currency I have lying around is worth - found an envelope with loads of euros (I'm not going to europe this year so what's the point of keeping this?!), chinese, egyptian currency! kerching...hopefully...
Catch up soon everyone!
Rachel - that's really great news about the job! :j

Well done on the job Rachel :j
Well I'm back in the UK and enjoying summer
Today I have/will:
Clear up DS2's room (a cat or fox has been trapped in the house, entered and exited when gardener turned up we think) There's nasty damage  to sort out. I've done our bedroom and the sitting room but DS2's room is the worst.
We'll be eating from the freezer as far as possible the next 2 weeks, so a bit of a store cupboard/freezer challenge coming up.
I had a MS in a travel agents.
My work have asked me to pop in AGAIN. (They don't pay me for all this help I keep providing.......) but otherwise I think I'll potter around today.
Masses of laundry to HK (fox/cat ) but will line dry in the sunshine
Skype Popeye - who will be here on Friday
Get all the crafty stuff I can from the loft and if it is usable take it back with me to occupy me in the cold evenings in Africa0
