You could try doing a factory reset, have you tried that?Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).

Download the functional guide from here.
Heres a snippet regarding memory settings. From the setting menu, you can access and alter the following settings to control
your phone’s memory use:
●● Clear phone memory: erase selected data from your phone’s memory
(WARNING: this will permanently erase all selected data from the phone’s memory)
●● Default memory: select the default memory location to use when transferring data,
capturing images and videos, or recording voice memos or the FM radio
●● Format memory card: format an inserted memory card
(WARNING: this will permanently erase all data on the memory card)
●● Memory status: view the used
I would backup any existing data you want from the phone to the PC before clearing the phone memory, and redirect the default memory location to the SD card.
Hope that helps.0 -

Your phone has a MicroSD slot under the back cover where the battery sits. The phone only comes with 40MB of internal memory which isn't much for this type of phone, i.e. music, pictures, fm radio, internet downloads, etc... are all cached to the internal memory if no external memory is provided.
I would suggest grabbing yourself a 2GB microSD card for your phone and redirecting it to the memory card. They are not expensive. Play.com do a 2GB card here for £5.49.0 -
