We have a Siemens one - can't hear it at all. It came with the flat so I have no idea how much they retail for, but I can strongly recommend it...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200

I bought the Bosch SGI45M55GB for £395 about six months ago and it is unbelievably quiet. I have opened it up by accident a few times not realising that it is actually in the middle of a wash. I now check the display to see if it is on rather than simply use my ears as I did with my old machine.0
