Integrated Dishwasher...quiet one

Can anyone recommend a quiet dishwasher? I dont want to spend a fortune on it... perhaps in the region of £400 max.... People have said that Miele is quiet but I cant seem to find one that in my price range with low noise... the cheaper ones (£390'ish) all have about 51db which is the same noise level as an Indesit at £250. Are there any brands I should definitely stay away from? My only requirements are that its integrated, easy to install, quiet and A/B on energy and wash. I know youre probably going to think she wants it all for £400 quid!:D Here's to hoping... thanks C

I have a whisper-quiet AEG, but it is free-standing and cost about £400 3 years ago. Some of the AEG machines quote only 41db, but I found this 45db one at Trade Appliances for £419 (3% back through Quidco!).

I have a Diplomat one, seems quiet. In with the house when we bought it so I can't say where to shop.

............... keep you out of mischief reading through them.;)

They're all integrated - you can sort by price etc .... and the detailed product information gives you wash / dry classification. Noise level not shown on all, unfortunately.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
