One factor that a lot of people forget when questioning Three's low prices - is the fact that Three have to get to a critical mass.
The more people that join three the less "cross net" minutes you will use - its costs them virtually nothing to connect a call between Three handsets but they have to pay other networks for cross net calls. Therefore the more users they can get the lower each call will costs them to provide - up to a certain number of users it must be economical to get users to pay just £2.99 per month.
There is no way that three can be going under - they are a massive international company, owned by the people that used to own Orange.0 -
Apparently if you lock it to the O2 signal, Three over time will pick up on this and can suspend your service.
As for them not going under........we will see. Just off to Alders-oops no thats right theve folded havnt they0 -

Where did you see this?
The only problems reported like this have been when people have used the 3 SIM in an ordinary 2g handset.
There are no problems as long as you keep the SIM in the 3 handset.0 -

haha true. Three will never go "under" - they are a big established operator in many companies (albeit under different brand names). I will concede that there is a minute chance of a withdrawal from the Uk though!0 -
They are part of the same group that has the Superdrug retail shops.0

For this month only, Rpoints are offering £14 cashback on CPW contract phones. Details here.GimmeGimme wrote:Linemypocket.co.uk offer £12 cashback on all pay monthly phones from CPW.0 -
This means that the total cost is 2.99 * 12 = 35.88 - 14 (RPoints) = 21.88 - 20 (Trade-in) = 1.88 / 12 = 16p a month.
Without taking into consideration the free phone or the texts, this works out at 31 cross net minutes per 1p, or about 0.03p per minute.
How can anyone refuse??!?! Unfortunatley I paid the higher price of 4.99/m and got £11 back through greasypalm, but it is still an absolutely fantastic deal.

I have tried to order this deal but cpw seem to be out of stock, i am gutted does anyone know how long this offer is on for.
thanks kathy0 -
The link in the opening post in THIS THREAD still allows you to order (and get the £20 trade-in).
Hope they'll fill these orders as soon as new stock arrives.0 -
That seems to be true; link is still there, though T&C say it expires 31 Jan
I applied 0030 1 Feb; thought I was too late; phoned Tues - "new stock after 10 Jan"; someone on other thread said new stock 3 Feb. Sure enough, they processed it and CPW say Citylink will deliver today.
So try again from that link0
