Overcharged by T-Mobile on a contract I never agreed to.

I've just found out that t mobile have been charging me on average £45 a month for a £25 contract. The excess charges are for landline calls my wife makes to her family and were meant to be part of unlimited landline package I negotiated for when the contract began in January.

I called t mobile to query the charges only to be told that there was no unlimited landline bolt-on and that the charges are legitimate. Is there any way arounfd this problem? I placed the order over the phone so was wondering if the call may have been recorded.

Anyone else had similar problems?

How did you not notice on either your T-mobile bill or bank statement that you were being overcharged by £20 a month for the last five months? Have you written to T-mobile to ask for a copy of the recording of your call? You may find that it is too late in the day and it has not been retained.

They haven't sent me any bills. When I asked CS about this they informed me that I had to call them for the bills. As for the bank statements, well, that's solely down to my ignorance.

Invoke the direct debit guarantee? IIRC T-mobile should not be charging you without informing you how much. You don't get e-mailed bills or texted to tell you your bill is ready to view on the T-mobile website?
