I never said all BMW's, or even all 3-series. I was simply commenting on the number of low end 3-series models that seem to be driven by idiots these days.

And as far as the M badge comment. If you see a 3-series that isn't an M3 and it has an M badge on the bootlid, you can almost guarantee you'll be seeing that car hanging off someones rear bumper on a motorway near you soon.

I tend to disagree with most of the BMW stereotypes.

Bmws are pretty common these days, the drivers of which represent a varied demograph. Luckily due to insurance costs theres not too many chavy young drivers cruising about in them just yet.

I know a lot of people with similar coupes like mine- most of them are women infact.

all the knobs left bmw to drive audis so us normal folk can drive a trully well engineered car without fear of looking like a !!!!!!.

should'nt really compare an A4 2.4 with a 318 as the 318 will feel a bit limp.

on a side note my x reg 525 manual can hit 34mpg on a run
