    Spamalot!....

  • I know these posts are 4 years old but can I just raise two points. Firstly, regarding covering over the asbestos I am pretty sure that if you cover it and don't mention it to buyer that they can sue you at a later date when they discover it.... and remember your neighbours may be your friends whilst you live there but "things" change.
Secondly --- you think you have problems. My dad is very elderley and 50 years ago he lugged sacks of asbestos waste dust from the power station he worked at and spread it in the roof space between the ceiling joists. (Amazingly 50 years later he is still alive and over 90 years old - AND he was a miner). Anyway, I know the problems with asbestos sheeting but POWDER, has anyone any vague idea of how much that will cost. I don't want to phone an official company at the moment in case they get the council to declare our house unfit for habitation and seal it off - or even demolish. Help?
