02 PAYG Simplicity Question

My daughter is currently on o2 PAYG, with costs of 12p per text and erm, I'm not sure on calls.

She is not a big user, but the texts soon add up - mainly texts and a few calls, but is topping up maybe £25 per month.

She has had a text from o2 about Simplicity, stating if she calls 2022 she can set up Simplicity.

We both agree that the £10 unlimited texts and 100 mins per month would be more than adequate.

My question is, if she calls the 2022 number, will her sim change and everything sorted via that call, or would she receive a new sim in the post. I know it's small fry compared to other questions on here!

Thanks.

ive just put my daughter on this. all you need to do is text SIM100 to 21300 and on her next anniversary date, £10 will be taken off her credit and she will be up and running

    There are several alternatives:

    1. Do as Trixie suggested
    2. Call 2022 from her phone and discuss it with the operative (the call is free) and they set it up there and then
    3. Go to the o2 website and start a webchat. Exactly the same result as 2 above, but you don't have to speak to anyone!!
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
