I would not replace even the cambelt and run it till it die, as the head gasket is on its way.

Only change the radiator if there is a leak, but i think the garage is trying it on.

Get recovery cover in case it dies one day.

Not true on most rovers of this age and up, the radiator is a service item and is to be replaced every 5 years (no i'm not joking or mad!):rotfl:.

    Rovers are sh*t!!!

Don't tell him to buy a new one, think Skoda's have better engines that Rovers!

The Rover died out long ago, was voted one of the most disliked cars around the other week in one of the papers

if you think that one is bad and ill-informed have a look at some of the ones (s)he has done on insurance & MOT related threads

pure comedy gold if slightly scary because if the advice was followed then serious trouble could result

Only problem is Sandoval has no sence of humour and doesn't even realise he said new "one" in a Rover thread not new "car". You have to explain it carefully to him sometimes ;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Whilst I don’t disagree I was actually talking about Sassy-one rather than Sandoval
