I could only get the outbound flight showing as free, the return cost £241 plus tax. As I want to go on to Australia, it all works out at just over £600. I think I will wait for a flight sale on a full service carrier at that price.

btw - baggage to 25kg was £20 (and it said it was discounted if you buy it at time of booking), a bit less for 20kg (? £15). Meal £9, Convenience fee £5.

Woo hoo. Got in without too much problem (their field for 'name on credit card' isn't long enough, so card was rejected twice, so I swapped to a debit card with an abbreviated version of my name and it went through OK, about twenty past five). Cheers to OP and Arsenal :)

    Was it free both ways?

free flights are only one way so roughly £320 return

Doesn't seem that great after all tbh. MH will do LHR-KUL return for £449 which includes your baggage, meals, booking fees, IFE, etc and arguably provide a better onboard experience. I live close to Heathrow and miles from Stansted so by the time everything was added up there'd be almost nothing in it. If not for the offer it'd be a fair bit more expensive for me on the budget airline than the full service airline.

Probably good for the light traveller who sleeps through flights and lives under the flightpath at Stansted lol.

No, just one way. It's stated in the terms and conditions that have been up since earlier. I mentioned it earlier on the other thread in "Quick Grabbit While You Can" thread, but haven't had time to track both threads..

Stanstead to KL for £71, book by 10th June

    Travel period 11th October - 14th November
    :j

Put together with flights from the May sale means Oz return for under £400 all in.

I just booked tickets via this promo - but accidentally put my father's birth year wrong. Does anyone know if they'll make a fuss over this at the airport?

The birthdate isn't on the booking PDF that I was sent by Air Asia.

I just got through to Air Asia after a 32 min wait on the phone. The customer service guy was sooo nice. He changed the birth year for me.
