Late today for me. No, not a lie in (far from it!) but not a spare moment until now. School run done, shopping done, veggies slow roasting in the oven and dinner defrosted. Going to help in playgroup at lunchtime shortly before coming home to blitz the house before the school run.
Eldest off on a school trip today to Marwell - so have sent him off with waterproofs. Will make some potato wedges for the boys to eat when they get home as no doubt they'll be STARVING!!! After the terrors switched the freezer off at the weekend, I've managed to salvage almost everything except a small portion of icecream and a bag of shallots. Everything else is feeding us for the week. OH has decided to take packed lunch into work in an effort to save money - only problem is he eats SO much. So I'm going to be making cakes this afternoon in an effort to fill him up. Have to get the post ready to go to the postoffice tomorrow - phew, better get on. Hugs to those in need ((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))))Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -

BB....It wasn`t about any actual rude stuff:o more about newspapers finding out I was having an affair with him and hounding me:eek: how very strange.I did have dealings with him as our local MP sorting out DS`s school probs but that was all....honest:o
I am sure you are very busy now that Spike has found his legs and using them for mischief:rotfl:
Redruby thank you for your kind words:A am much calmer now although am trying not to think too much about what he might be doing and what could go wrong as it just upsets me.
on a brighter note OH and I are going away for the night on friday:T we got a romantic deal of bed, champagne breakfast and 3 course a la carte meal.

Glad to see Noah got there safe and sound. I imaging how you are feeling is a bit like empty nest syndrome. I quite often think about life pre kids - goodness I must have been sooooooo bone idle
Anyway it was pouring down here this morning but since we've been at soft play it's stopped thank goodness. Popping out after school to B&Q - getting H some more garden solarpowered lights from the kids for father's day. He gets all the best presents :rotfl:
Tea tonight will be sausage and tomato pasta with salad.
Oh thank you all of you who reassured me regarding my missing threads.......pleased to report they are now present and correct :rotfl: <breathes sigh of relief>
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Hi all,
Just a quick post to let you know that I had another miscarriage last night. Am in total shock as I had no idea that I was pregnant. Feel weirdly ok about it all, just feel totally positive that things are going to be ok now.
DH is really struggling as he thinks it's his fault - his first wife had 3 when they were together and now I've had two. He can't help but feel like he's the common denominator (sp?). I don't care whether he is or isn't, it's our problem but he can't accept that right now bless him.
Going back to hospital tomorrow to check that I have passed everything (sorry if TMI) but hoping to be back at work soon. I feel like a bit of a fraud sat here at home tbh...
Hope everyone is ok, special hugs to jackieg, MSD, NPM and Ladygrim and anyone else who needs them xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
