Disabled badge holder parked on double yellow line

I parked on a double yelllow line with my disabled blue badge not noticing that the kerb had two yellow stripes that means no loading/parking even for blue badge holders. I appealed the ticket as I did not see a no loading sign. I was told theat there was a sign and it was round the corner on another street. As long as the sign is 15 meteres away from where I parked then this is sufficent.
Does anyone know if because the sign was in another street that this ticket is not valid?
Many thank
John

I was just told that restrictions were in place hence the ticket.
When I went to see what restrictions were in place i found the no loading sign around the corner. I have parked on this double yellow line for years not notiving the two yellow stripes on the kerb. I did some research and read that the sign has to be with 15 meteres of the yellow stripes. My question is, is that considering the sign is on another street does this count?0 -
Full details please.
Get the Traffic Order for the location, there is a likely flaw.
Which council is this ?0 -
02- Parked or loading/unloading in a restricted street where waiting and loading/unloading restrictions are in force.0

A picture of the PCN, front and back. Pictures of the signs and lines at the location.
Get the Traffic Order for the location, there are widespread deficiencies in TROs where yellow lines and kerb blips are used together.
The absence of the signs should assist your case. Was this a separate bay or does it travel wrounthe corner to where the sign is ?0 -
excuse my ignorance how do I attach pictures and the PCN?
I was parked in front of a loading bay that had restricted times.
Where I was parked close to a corner there was a double yellow line and two sets of yellow stripes on the kerb . Round the corner there were a two stripes and double yellow lines the no loading sign was round the corner not where I was parked.

See the stickies "how to attach pics" etc.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

You parked on the double yellows that close to the junction?
Doesnt the blue badge rules say not to park within 30 feet of a junction?
Is that one of the areas always mentioned for giving loads of tickets out?

Yes I was on a double yellow but in my legal limit from the corner.0
