I am looking at the HTC Wildfire it is a smaller version of the Desire and loads cheaper.
Is their any difference other than screen size?
The battery life is better so thats a plus,Play will have it next month unlocked for £229.99.
I am due to upgrade next month but don't think I will get as good a deal as I did previously.

Depends on what software you were thinking of running and how many progs you want running at once?
As a phone 528 MHz would be fine, but if you want to run half a dozen progs and the sat nav at the same time it might struggle a bit !0 -
the wildfire only has a QVGA screen (240x320)0

As Pinkllama says the screen resolution is much lower. The processor is slower. It has touch sensitive buttons instead of real ones. There's a brief review here.

Essentially it's a budget phone designed to cash in on the success of the Desire. If the desire is an updated hero then the Wildfire is an updated Tattoo. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
