What is the definition of ironic?
The Dutch complaining about the ref
Interesting comment by the best ever Dutch footballer:
Cruyff said: "On Thursday, they asked me, 'Can we play like Inter? Can we stop Spain in the same way (Jose) Mourinho eliminated Barca?'
"I said no because I hate this style. I said no because I thought that my country wouldn't dare to renounce their style. I said no because, without having great players like those of the past, the team has its own style.
"I was wrong. Of course, I'm not hanging all 11 of them by the same rope, but almost. They didn't want the ball. And regrettably, sadly, they played very dirty. So much so that they should have been down to nine immediately. They made two such ugly and hard tackles that even I felt the damage.
"It hurts me that I was wrong and that Holland chose an ugly path to aim for the title. They were playing anti-football."

13:52 14Jul10 - Henry moves to New York Red Bulls
NEW YORK, July 14 - France striker Thierry Henry has signed for New York Red Bulls, the Major League Soccer (MLS) team said on Wednesday.
The former Juventus and Arsenal forward joins New York from Barcelona in a "multi-year" deal, the Red Bulls said in a statement.
The 32-year-old Henry joins England's David Beckham and former Swedish international Freddie Ljungberg among the league's 'designated players' who have most of their salary paid outside of their team's salary cap.
"It is without question that Thierry Henry is one of the most successful and recognisable soccer players over the past 15 years," said Dietmar Beiersdorfer, head of New York's owners, Red Bull Global Soccer.
"We are thrilled that Thierry has decided to come to New York to help the Red Bulls compete for championships this year and for years to come. His international pedigree is second to none and he is a proven winner."
Henry said he was looking forward to the challenge with the team who moved into a new, purpose-built soccer stadium this season but have yet to win an MLS title.
"This marks an exciting new chapter in my career and life. It is an honour to play for the New York Red Bulls. I am fully aware of the team's history and my sole goal during my time here is to help win the club its first championship."Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Translation.
1) I will be making millions playing football of worse quality than the SPL or Championship.
2) I have heard of them, but know nothing about them but....$$$$$$.
3)Even Phil Nevil would get a starting place in the first team.0
