he's only scored 5 goals for spain, and 3 of them were against san marino ! :rotfl:

Why? how many times has he played, he is still only 24.
Sergio Ramos missed over-the-crossbar with a header from four yards out in the 77th minute, failing to convert a corner kick that could have given Spain the lead. The right back fit the Xavi Hernandez cross with the top of his head after the Netherlands failed to make him in the six yard box. It was Ramos’s second close-range chance of the match, with a fifth minute opportunity off a dead ball saved by Maarten Stekelenburg. The match remains scoreless in the 81st minute.

I would settle for opportunities like that everytime I back someone at 30-1 icon7.gif

Also well played to runner up Inspector Monkfish, StevieJ in 3rd (always expected him to be up there challenging) and everyone else who finished in the top 10.

It was a fun game for the duration of the WC, and I was well beaten in 12th despite trying and taking it seriously.

How many of those were first scorer though? That's more the point.

Well done chucky! Its only tonight that I've found out that you are stormin' Norman. 6591 overall. Pretty impressive given that there were at least 680,000 playing (I know that because I was in that position after the first couple of days).

Indeed, they should be buying him a drink for giving them the chance to at least take it to extra time.
