Poor refereeing decisions cost the Dutch. Firstly no corner awarded and then no award for a blatant block by the Spanish. Sorry Holland.
bit unfair. they were lucky to finish the game with just 10 men!
thought webb was quite lenient towards them at times. (de jong should have gone for his karate kick on alonso, and robben for playing on after the whistle)
dutch came out from the offset to rough up the spaniards, which was a shame as they have the quality to have given the spaniards a real good match, without reverting to those kind of tactics. They haven't done it all tournament, so dont know why they decided to do it in the final.

van bronkhorst was taken off before the goal was scored, so he gets a clean sheet.

I lost out as an over-reliance on german players who didn't play in the play off.
That said, friday I said I expected chucky to win...:)
It was fun for all I hope, which is the main thing.
