They're coming home, they're coming home, they're coming, Englands coming home........“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I gather the WAGS have just been flown out to South Africa, I hope they got day returns.
At least the English might get back to work now and concentrate on important things, because at football they are rubbish anyway.0 -

Best league? Almost certainly to watch on TV. As a MSE fan? Germany. Less than a hundred quid for a season ticket.Thrugelmir wrote: »Maybe we need a big football club to go bust..........
Liverpool may well help you out with your wish.0 -
I'm not really a football follower, but is the problem here we have so many foreign players that come these international tournaments they all go home and play for their home teams leaving us with .......... the dregs??? I've seen better football on a Sunday afternoon in the local park, congratulations Germany you deserved this one...0

Glen Johnson plays for them I think. He is no footballer from the evidence I've seen this World Cup. Maybe a distance runner or some other form of athlete, but the worst England fullback I've ever seen. No control of the ball, clumsy, and can't pass.
Primitive, cave-man football from England. Germany carved us open with defence splitting, intelligent passing football. Rooney for player-manager.
And why was Stuart Pearce part of the England setup? At the time of his appointment he'd been a repeat failure as a manager with his teams giving many barbaric performances - very similar to the performances England have given this world cup; sinking as low as putting his faith in a cuddly toy good-luck mascot. Passion alone doesn't cut it.0 -
Just goes to show you how important foreigners are to the Premier League.
Up the Gunners..........
(shame half of them are French & have already gone home!!)Not Again0
