    Nobody is looking dominant to me at the moment. I wonder if it's the whole playing at altitude thing? I've done a fair amount of riding at altitude and it's one thing that you can't just think your way around. If there isn't enough air there's nothing you can do.

    I wonder if that's what is causing so many keeping mistakes too: obviously there's Green but also goalies don't seem to be taking the ball cleanly very often. I found I could barely read a book after cycling in the mountains some days.

    This is indeed a very strange World Cup misskool. Who would have bet on the best teams in Europe being the likes of Switzerland or Serbia? The South Americans have got to win this time round. Unless things get even stranger. That fiver on North Korea may yet gain in appeal.

    This evening we've wasted 2 hours watching a game that's been far from beautiful.
