Unfortunately, I was at work until half time and rushed to watch the second half.
Not sure why I skipped free drinks to watch that rot though. How did they get into the world cup in the first place??
They won their qualifying group.

Make that 10 transfers for me now - Buffon and Senderos are out with injuries.
We're going to take each game as it comes. We're still in with a chance but there are no easy games at this level. It's a game of two halves.

that was totally totally rubbish, whats happened to Rooney? Is Barry actually fit? Where was Lampard? Why sub Heskey? Does Capello know what he's doing? Who the %%%% is Algeria? Crouch must think he has an infectious disease, a record of an international goal every 98 minutes, he should have been on at half time and where is Joe Cole?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

Most frustrating game I think I have ever watched . We need new management- or we need Capello to face up and switch tactics on and off the field.
His style was perfect for qualifying- efficient, organised- it was a refreshing change from previous managers who were more concerned with being the players mate.... but when you get to the World Cup, no wags, set team dinners and early bedtimes is not enough. The discipline is great but only when combined with passion and drive, and there is none of that ATM.
It is going to take something special to turn this around now because you can see it is like a pressure cooker in the England camp and I don't see what Capello can now do to change that (although I obviously hope he can). Nothing against the bloke personally, he has done well until now but it just looks like since arriving in SA all creativity, flair, initiative etc etc has been stifled.
You can say its the pressure or expectation of the fans & press thats the problem buts thats not strictly true- the South Americans have just as much expectation on their teams but yet the players still manage to create beautiful football and play with a smile on their face- it is IMO a managers role to try and utilise such 'pressure' as motivation/ drive/ passion, but I think Capellos supposedly schoolmaster type manner is adding to the problem....
Anyway, hopefully all this will be aired and sorted in the next few days.
On the pitch, James to stay, Heskey to go (I'm not an ignorant hater, I know his qualities but he cannot work with Rooney like he did with Owen). Hmm, rant over, for now
