New page - so time for one of these:D

    Quote:
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

    What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!

What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:

    report.gif

Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM

It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    Handyman :rotfl: you are encourageable!!!

    3dogs It's known as an education ;):money::beer:

Morning all...alas I didn't crash till 11pm and was up for an hour @ 2am and then up @ 5.30 or so (am)...dang! and I have voluntary work today...the debate is whether to cycle (quite fancy it) or like catch the bus/walk baring in mind it's uphill LOL. Long time since I've really tackled hills bar the wee slant back from Mr.A.

Getting fat :P.....must reform my diet!!!!Got to get skinny STUFF dr .c.

Still not at peace with Ma...am trying but she pretty much insisted the other week I kept supporting her when I was stressed and she was throwing tantrums every 2 secs and I'm like (when I realise it was doing me no good by which point I'm psychotic :() - do you really think you behaved yourself last 3 days of your visit...firstly not realizing that I needed to eat @ 1pm - anything just carbs and NOT a cafe/restaurant cos they're too expensive - and her wittering like a spoilt child about buying postcards

Then that night her abandonment feelings about potentially not meeting a relative on the way home (he really wasn't worth it!) and a tantrum on the Tues am (thought she was going to run out my house in her nightie @ 8am) and if that's not bad enough she has a prob with her train ticket on the Wed so just when I think I can breathe (though by this point I'm having a stress reaction and fasting) she says "Couldn't afford it....going to have to live off rice and water for a month" and I'm like "hello that'll kill you and completely inappropriate to text me today". What's so wrong in taking a couple of months to pay off your CC if it's just sos? I don't get it? 5820-Businessman-Bringing-Christmas-Food-Gifts-Home-Clipart-Illustration.jpg

Added to this I've had middle of the night crisis texts (when I've told her to phone Samaritans ) and like just before she came she accidentally got a facebook account (not wise for her really) and then denied she had it and last week there was a day of tantrums which she never apologised for.

If she was a toddler or a teen you could excuse all this...the reality is she over 60 and MY MOTHER

    Sorry to rant

    Morning all.....
