Good Morning All
Flying visit from me, really must try to focus on work.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Back from the vets with Bonnie in a buster-collar to stop her getting at her paws - vet thinks it may be an allergy or a fungal infection - got cream to put on her paws twice a day and got to go back next week - they may do a scraping on the area to have it examined. The area behind her pads is all raw so it must be driving her mad. Can't think of anything that has changed that she may be allergic to, so may be that fungal infection - the cream will take the sting out of it as well as heal it
Our other 2 are insured but Bonnie being the eldest is on PDSA PetAid so at least it will not cost us loads of money, you just pay a donation if you wish, so I left [STRIKE]£5[/STRIKE] £4 cause that's all the cash I had in my purse and they could not accept cards
Other 2 are checking out her collar all the time, but middle one still managing to lick out Bonnie's ears as she loves to do this - she is probably trying to make her feel better
Sorry you're still feeling iffy Allie but good luck in your revision/interviewMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Poor bonnie, hope the cream manages to sort her feet out and sooth the itching. Wonder if she could have picked up anything from the 2 lodgers 3dogs?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Don't think so Tixy - we did think of that but are sure that she was doing it before they arrived. At first she was just licking her toes a lot, then under her paws and since Thursday/Friday she was actually gnawing frantically at them - but could not get appointment at vet until this morning - receptionist/vet nurse did advise bathing her paws in salt water in the mean time, but luckily we did not do this as vet said it would have stung her terribly.
Just about to attempt to put the cream on now but she is a b*gger about things like that - hates anyone touching her feet/legs/tummy so it is definitely a 2 man job!Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Poor Bonnie, sounds painful - an extra biscuit for her (since cuddles might not be her cuppa tea!)Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0
