A new page time for one of these x
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THATalways smile no matter how broken you are.0 -

Very much enjoyed the grand prix, proper exciting, and now have the Germany game on. Carol - totally agree about the noisy things at the football, must be offputting to the players as well.
Glad the jam has turned out well Borassic, nothing beats the taste of homemade jam.
Allie poor you, foodpoisoning is horrid, at least it wasn't food you had made yourself, having a lazy day sounds like a good cure, along with lots of liquids (not alcohol ones though!).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I know GB sounds a bit strange doesn't it but it works really well, you just bung it all in and it comes out as jam:D. I think I actually prefer the way it makes jam than bread:oI must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Firstly have you got a jam setting on your machine? If not then I don't know what programme you would use perhaps check your user manual but the recipe is:-
4 cups Strawberries/other fruit washed, hulled and roughly chopped (for strawbs and other large fruit not rasp/blackberries etc.) you can mash or blend them if you want or you can use frozen.
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp pectin
4 tsp lemon juice.
Put in the machine in this order:-
1st Sugar
2nd pectin
3rd fruit
4th lemon juice
and set it off job done!! Takes about 1hr 20mins - this makes 2 jars.
Good luck!I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Cool!! thanks BL. I'm gonna have a look at making this and see how i get on. I never actually noticed a jam setting, but will make sure i see about making it, will be so much easier than the traditional method. :TIf you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them~Dalai LamaHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours~Wayne DyerLet none find fault in others.
