I was all set to go to Scarborough and the car's got a flat tyre. So I'm waiting for an RAC man to come and sort it out. I'm tempted to not bother and get up really early in the morning to get there for 6am so we can go to London.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Sorry about your tyre Ames. I got a flat on the motorway a couple of weeks ago and it took RAC (well actually they contracted it out) 1 1/2 hours to get to me, when the bloke arrived he said my spare was flat and do you know he didn't even have a pump! Luckily I did but I've never heard anything like it. They send a truck out to fix a flat tyre and the bloke doesn't even have a pump:o Hope he gets there soon and you can get on your way. If it was me I'd rather go tonight than have to get up that early!I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

The RAC have phoned, it's going to be at least 8 before they get here, so I'm going to get up at 4am and go over in the morning, I'd only get there in time to go to bed anyway. I just hope my car has a spare tyre and not one of those foam repair things otherwise I wont be able to go down with sister and I don't think she's confident enough to go on her own.

Sorry about the flat tyre, Ames, what a pain. Hoping you have more luck with the RAC man than BL did. Think I'd rather go tonight as well, not a morning person. Hope you have a safe journey whenever you decide to travel and that your sister finds a suitable flat.

Mr Dogs & me have been to slimming class this afternoon and he had gained 10 1/2 pounds and I gained 8 pounds :eek: can you tell what a good time we had?
