    Just found out
The travel company that my mam is meant to be going away with in a few months,
is the one thats gone into adminstration:(
    http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/holiday-firm-collapses-with-16-000-abroad-skynews-f082c601014d.html?x=0

That's a bummer Numpty - when was she due to go, will she get a refund in time to book somewhere else?

We are having that hokey cokey weather you had the other day, the sun is in out in out and the rain is shaking it all about - really heavy downpours - and I've got washing to do

I bid £14 this morning at the auction for 3 trolley suitcases as two of them were matching and will just be right for our hols. The thing is, you often have to take a load of household rubbish with the items you want, in this part of the auction as they are very mixed lots. One of the cases was jam packed with Gap, Next & other good label shirts, tops, jeans, t-shirts and kiddies clothes and the other one with kiddies toys and cushion covers. The cushion covers are now on the cushions on my suite and look fab, exactly the right colour, and in amongst the clothes was a gorgeous flowing skirt which fits me perfectly, it is black with flowers - very gypsy. As we are going to do a car boot on Friday morning, we will put them out then and charge between 50p and £5 so should get some money back against the cases. From all the clothes, we have only had to throw out a kiddies pair of shorts and a pair of jeams, the rest is new or nearly new gear.

Loved the chicken story Handy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good evening trollbusters, hope you have all had a good day. Hope your mother's holiday plans go through ok Numpty, she should be covered as I would think the co-op travel agents are ABTA registered.
Talking of chickens, I dismantled the Eglu this morning for its weekly wash down and let Lou out for a stroll round the garden. Albert the cat bounded up to her, stopped a foot away and stood there staring at her. She stared at him. Then she poked her head forward in that funny way that chickens do and Albert jumped out of his skin and did a runner - stupid great tart of a cat!
Hope it's a nice day tomorrow as it's my son's 12th birthday and he's having a mate round in the afternoon for pizzas - I can kick them both out in the garden if it's fine!

Had hotdogs made with jumbo sausages, Allie, followed by strawberries and icecream. It's a junk food weekend in this house (pizzas tomorrow for son's birthday) then back to the usual cordon bleu stuff on Monday.

Handy's eating late tonight as he's on his own, so I don't need to stick to fixed times.
Dinner Wild Mushroom Tortellini (shop bought) Home made sauce, Baby sunripend tomatoes rough diced, fried off in walnut oil, desert spoon of pesto, handfull of pine nuts, 1/2 clove garlic, desert spoon tomatoe puree 1/2 glass white wine. mix up simmer for 5 mins and pour over.

The fastest food is sometimes the best, now what to do with the left over wine.:beer:
    Seez slew slaterz, Handy.
