Allie.. theres nothing wrong with that Rock 'n' Roll Lifestyle, its exactly the same as mine. People often ask when i'm gonna slow down, but how can i?.. life in the fast lane keeps me young at heart!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

BL.. Glad you got back safe and sound. We didnt have it warm here yesterday but a storm last night may have saved us from the stickiness. Its chuckin' it down now and has been all night, if you have heat and sunshine today, please send some my way!.

BL, just wanted to echo what Geebee said, meant to say that yesterday, hope you're OK and don't get stuck in too much traffic from Silverstone tomorrow.

No sun here either, Geebee, we're promised rain as well today though, as we're on a hosepipe ban from today, we'll probably get nothing but rain from now on:(

Thanks for the bubble teas today, they look delicious and will keep me going while I'm working today.

Lovely IF they just hit the spot - so much taastier than the muesli & yoghurt I have earlier and less calories too - fantastic - and I pinched one of Spoon's bubble teas too - well, you couldn't drink all of them could you? .... or could you?

Sorry folks but it is still gorgeous here in the Fens - sunny, wispy cloud, breezy and HOT HOT HOT - in fact I am just going to sit out in the garden for a wee while now but I will try very hard to wish some sun you way gang and I will be thinking of you while I burn

Afternoon all

It's absolutely chucking it down here - we had really heavy rain last night and high winds so all the windows were closed, shutters closed and locked and even the night vents closed as the rain was coming in through them!:eek::eek:

OH is out helping a friend who got his power cut off last night

so I've not done very much today so far, just relaxing doing some stitching and tidying up (not all the list got done yesterday!!) :Dwashed my hair and let it dry naturally but that was a mistake as with all the moisture in the air I resemble a very fluffy poodle!:cool:

I also decided last night that I need to get an avatar

anyone know where there is some info on how to do this?!!!

As for avatars, do a google search for them or if you have a picture you like then you can use it
(within the site restrictions) if it don't fit post the pic on here or send me a link, and i'll see what I can do;)

Thanks Numpty, I know what I'd like i think it's just a case of finding the right pic! I'll have a wee go just now and see what happens!

Good afternoon all, very warm but threatening to rain - although not quite managing to do so. A mini parade went by my house this morning, in preparation for a bigger event in town today - hope it stays fine for everyone. I was considering going into town but OH and son very boring and can't be bothered so instead I stayed home and cleaned out the chicken house. The exciting life I lead.......
