Hellooooo! I'm here now! *Scoffs whatsever left of the cake* - yum yum thanks GB
hello to everyone else who's not really here but is here in my imagination....think that just about covers everyone!
I'd have been here earlier but took BestMate to hosp after work to get her stitches sorted as they keep opening (no more to be said on the matter other than me and BestMatesSon were calling her a zombieI'm so mature!) so she got her head glued instead of stitched as apparently that's more secure! (Cue all the comments from OH and BM's hubby regarding the unglued mouth situations for me and BM...i said they ran out of glue...they'd need a lot after all!
) so after that she treated me to a coffee whilst her son played in the soft play bit for a while as a thank you (for being Bestest BestMate of course!) Why don't they make soft play for adults - it looked amazing fun! Anyway, they're both ok and the window company is replacing the window for free, checking all the others, extending her warranty and giving her some compensation so a good result for her
After that I came over to OHs and noticed that there's a weeks worth of dishes needing doing, a bathroom to clean, bedroom to tidy, bed to change and a hall to tidy.:mad::mad: So I put on my grumpy hat and did all the dishes, tidied the hall, hoovered, changed the bed, put my wash on and hung it up and I told him when he got in (about 5mins ago) that everything else has to be done by him tonight before we sit down for dinner. I then took off my Grumpy hat and put it in the cupboard in the hall for safekeeping!
(he's finishing tidying the bedroom just now and is about to start the bathroom cleaning)
Warm here tonight, think I might have to let one of the bottles of vino in the fridge escape and pour itself into my glass....or maybe I could just use a straw?! :rotfl:Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -
Bumpety bumpUnless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Hi Everyone :hello:
Thank you all for your concern regarding the long drive I had today, I am really touched.(No not in the head:p) I did have a couple of breaks as it was soooo hot especially as I don't have aircon:( It's so hypnotising driving on the motorways especially if you have no-one in the car to talk to. I tried talking to myself but I didn't like the answers I got:o. Anyway got back safe and sound, it wasn't too bad a journey trafficwise but I'd have hated to be on the M1 going at the time I was coming back as it was solid for about 6 junctions:eek: I suppose there's a lot of traffic for Silverstone for the Grand Prix, just hope I don't get caught in it on Sunday when I have to do it all over again:(
I am now full to the brim with all the leftover cake, thanks GB - yuuummmm and am going to chill with an ice cold glass or 2 of vino before taking a nice relaxing bath and going to bed - can't wait. Up early again tomorrow as OH car has to go in so I have to bring him back (or do I????:D).
Have registered on Niddy's new site but haven't had a chance to get acquainted with it yet.
It's gonna be a hot night here tonight and probably where you all are too so I hope you all get some sleep and enjoy the rest of your evening.
Keep 'em peeled;) See you all tomorrow.:grouphug:
P.S. Handy - Sorry to hear about yor MIL, hope she is OK. Good news about Mrs Handy though, hope it all goes well for her. And sod Lady Hooray - she can wallow in it.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D
