Hubbie will be doing most of the walkies - he takes our 3 out first and then the Lodgers as they are such a real 'pair', we think they need to be togetherBorassicLint wrote: »Woohooo just made the last payment on one of my CCJ's!
Well done BL - another one bites the dust :T :Tsolventsoon wrote: »Hi 5Dogs (sorry, I have to call you that now;))
Glad they settled last night, that's a bonus.
Hope the itching and smells subside after shower and flea treatment.
As BL said, hope the lady is OK, any news on when your neighbour is getting back?
Well done you and Mr 5Dogs for taking them in:j
They have not yet had their shower as hubbie had to go out to pick up my prescription as I really needed my hayfever tablets - itching has died down now after taking it. He is having his aftenoon nap now, with 2 of our dogs. Youngest and Lodgers are asleep in the sitting room with me - most of the time you would not notice that the Lodgers were here, they are so well behaved - they could teach my 2 youngest some lessons!!
Lady's daughter called in at lunch time to say mother had not come round till 6 this morning and hospital were very worried that she may not come round at all - first thing she said was where's my handbag? !! Daughter had managed to get in touch with our neighbour and the first thing he said was 'what about my house - is it secure' - the daughter was not impressed!! She did not say anything about the dogs, other than thanking us again and again for looking after them, and I did not press her as she has other things on her mind. I asked her if the older dog was on any medication as he has a very nasty eye, and she said there was some on the table so she brought it round. However, when she got away, I found it was for ears not eyes, so I will just have to keep washing his eye out regularly
So we are waiting to see if neighbour is coming straight home or what - if we haven't heard anything by tomorrow, I will ring the police and see what they know
Sorry - but it is nice and sunny here - washing is drying nicely with the breeze too. Not quite sunbathing weather but nice all the same

Quick bump before dinner!..
Hope things get sorted out soon "5Dogs"... its lucky that you are doggie people or the neighbour would have been a bit up the creek!. I hope he realises how fortunate he is to have such good neighbours. :AIf you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them~Dalai LamaHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours~Wayne DyerLet none find fault in others.
