Time for another one:
Hi Everyone :hello:
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THATThose that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -

I put a fur throw down in the bedroom as well as a blanket in the hall, after a quick wee in the garden (the dogs that is) I got into bed - it was 2 of ours that were unsettled, watching what the lodgers were up to - within seconds the lodgers, who had laid down in the hall, wandered into the bedroom and both settled down on the throw. I got up about 3 am to let our youngest into garden and they all popped out for a wee - when I got back into bed, all settled down in their places (our 3 on the bed and the lodgers curled close together on their throw) and all stayed there until this morning.
Hubbie took our 3 out first and then the lodgers who are not actually used to walkies (!! tut tut !!) 5 lots of poo to pick up (sorry Carol) and then 5 feeds - all seem happy
As I speak, oldest doggie is on settee between us, middle one on back of settee behind me, youngest in one of the many dog beds, and lodgers curled up on blanket on floor (so close together you would think it was one bigger fluffy dog) I will post a picture later
I think hubbie is going to give lodgers a shower later - we are not used to the smell of a long-coated dog - I am itching like mad (will flea drop them all after the shower) and asthma feels a bit edgy todayMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Is the Sussex trip to Mike's for the SOS DIY show by any chance?
Do you know what is funny about all this? I actually know the producer and set him up with the details to get the job done (after he'd been told no) to not even get a thanks from him!
Granted the guy has issues but you know, common courtesy does not go amiss...... he's never once acknowledged the fact not even with a little, Oh Cheers Niddy!
Thanks for that - last time i'll do any name dropping for people!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
