£17.50 a year for a plot in Leicester, this is under a parish council, no idea of the cost under the town council. We pay for water only, no other facilities.
  • I live in Stoke on Trent and the price depends on the size of the plot. Mine is £49 per year and i've just got mains water and the council only cut the grass walkway to the plots once a year, they also stipulate that the plot holder has to keep half of the width of any roadway or pathway adjacent to an allotment garden to be kept clear of weeds and in a neat and tidy condition by the Plot Holder, so they only cut the gras on the main walkway in the middle! and this is outside our fenced off plots. It seems some councils are better than others where allotments are concerned.
