Hmm - malwarebytes seems to be ok. I think the next step is to ensure everything is really ok by running combofix but I'm not a techie so I'm not sure if I should be advising or not.

Please run COMBOFIX
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download0 -
For starters you have Avira and MS Essentials, you should run one or the other.
Also the log seems a bit short of some entries.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
I don't think it's anything to do with your computer. Although they keep denying it, I think it's a problem with Hotmail. Like loads of other people, I had this happen. I always log off and had a reasonable password. I have changed the password to an even stronger one but my account still gets used to send junk.
When it happened, I emailed everyone to apologise, set up a new email account and deleted most of the addresses in hotmail. The only ones left are a couple of ones that go to non-reply sites. They always get bounced back so I can see that it's still happening.0
