Rowan poisonous to animals? We have Rowan tree n berries in our front garden and haven't found piles of dead animals in autumn...In fact...birds seem to love them then poop them out on my car. Our dog spits them out 'cause they taste awful (so she tells me
). They are a good looking tree and grow quite fast.
They do cause diarrhea if eaten a lot by humans....wonder if thats why the toilet tissue firm is giving them away! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Rowan berries aren't poisonous as far as I know. In fact, Rowan jelly (made with the berries) is *fabulous* with venison ..."In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted." - Bertrand Russell0

I'm so pleased you haven't found any dead animals, thats nice for you
me personally having bunnies and guinea pigs I would rather make an informed choice and not intentionally get a tree that could potentially kill them .. its not rocket science reallyA heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!
