Freebie idea

Diminutive wrote:i'd like to point out that freebies aren't free... they take up your time. And time is money. Everyone knows that.
Everyone knows that playing games, reading books, basically any hobby take up time, and although they cost money we happily pay.
Everyone knows that everything people do for fun takes up time, and most of them we have to pay for, but we do it anyway because we enjoy it.
Most people know that chasing freebies don't cost money unlike most other things we do for fun, and we even get rewarded for it when we recieve the freebies!
So they're really double free! It's free fun, and then if we receive the freebies, we get a free reward too
Most people here know that.0 -
i would maybe pay less than 4.99 for someone to register for comps though0

Why is looking for freebies fun?0

No I wouldn't do it.
There are sites out there with freebies listed,it only takes moments to click each one and cut and paste the details in from a text file.
You've only got to get your ip blacklisted by sites for multiple ordering and you would have a lot of angry subscribers on your tail.
You would also need to have legal terms and conditions for instance not selling their details or sending them to third parties other than for freebies.
Not subscribing them to things they dont want like 'mens' magazines or financial companies.0 -
personally i prefer to do the freebies myself! it doesnt take very long anyway!
it is a good idea - but like someone said - if u apply for the same freebie loads of time on the same pc, i think they can track it to one person.0 -
if you wanna make money from it do what i do apply and then put the bundle of freebiese together that you got and stick them on ebay!"You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need"
live simply so that others may simply live

Definately a no from me aswell. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
A big yes from me ! Its a very good idea IMO, just needs thought through a bit more.
You have similar services for competitions etc
I wouldn't just send you a fiver and hope you send for the stuff. Id want a secure site where I inpute my details, a list of offers to apply for to tick the boxes, regularly updated. Opt out from junk mail and or maybe supply an email acc to send the "offers" you normally get when applying for freebies. and a reporting procedure for freebies not recieved.0 -
Sorry for bumping this topic again....
I would suggest selling all your old and what would seem useless stuff along with lots of free things at a car boot.:beer:0
