I paid for it to go thru, but strangely we also had a small issue when we got to Fla-her hair looks brunette in the picture nd she is actually blonde. Even more blonde after 3 weeks in the sun! They asked about it and I felt like I was trying to smuggle another persons child out of the States

Not sure I get what you mean Bun?:o

So you send off your application and then did they send it back? then you paid ?

    Sorry:o

I know it seems a lot, but they will tell you there and then whether the photos will be accepted. They measured mine using some sort of template which made sure my eyes were lined up within their acceptable limits. But then again I was only paying 1 x £8.

My passport was sent off and returned to me within two weeks.

I wouldnt care, we used the passport photo booth in the Post office too. We were all in the head shaped guide on the screen before pressing print.

I will just have to hope for the best as I have sealed the envelopes now:D

I took it to the post office and paid for it to be ok'd. The £8. They hummed and haa'd about it-the photo that is, then said it was ok. I sent it off, it came back fine, quite fast.

Then, we we were in the States, they pointed out that DD's hair was a different colour in her picture

Surely they aren't saying once you have a passport you can't dye your hair? Or get it cut? Is it just because she is a child do you think, because my hair is long in my photo but short now.

My hair was drastically different from my passport photo when I was around 15 and my picture was taken at about 12 - they were fine with it. I think I might have problems in the future though, my whole profile is different to my current passport photo because of the jaw surgery I had.

I could understand that Gemz....your whole face would have changed drastically. But not hair colour?
