Painting a Kenwood Chef?
Comments
-
I picked-up two Kenwood Chefs for a quid each from my local recycling centre. Referring to an 'Instructables' webpage titled Upcycle your Kenwood Chef, I removed and painted just the plastic parts of one of the Chefs using Halfords own-brand car sprays (grey primer, Nissan metallic blue, aluminium, lacquer) and old black and gloss red Tamiya model paints. A modeller friend painted the fiddly silver numbering on the motor speed dial.

Kenwood customer services kindly emailed me a photocopy version of the original Chef & Major manual which includes recipes and a guide to the various attachments.
And yes, i have used it. I've made 'coronavirus isolation bread' this week.
I plan to upgrade to a chrome metal bowl and get the blender attachment so I can make me some blue milkshake.2 -

Sorry but I haven't read all the posts. But if you live near Havant in Hampshire, Kenwood has its factory there. I couldn't get an attachment off my new food processor so I drove (180 mile round trip) and they showed me what to do. I could have sent it by post but I didn't want to. They might be able to help you with the paint.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons
