i think he'll cave in and sign them, he's worried it'll affect his access to the chidren. Thats already been agreed so don't know wot he's worried about!

We sorted any 'assets' out when he left so nothing left. I told him to cite Adultry but he won't go to a solicitor, wants me to do it! grrrr

    Just as a minor point.

    A can divorce B for B's adultery.
    B can divorce A for A's adultery.
A cannot divorce B for A's adultery. It's not possible.

So you cannot divorce someone on the grounds of your own adultery.

    Good luck!

Just quickly skimmed the thread, and couldn't see if anyone had asked the question, did you have an affair?

I'm really not up to speed with divorce reasons but if he wants to divorce you for adultry doesnt he have to have some kind of proof. I always thought they had to have at least 3 instances with dates and times of when the adultry took place and proof to back them up so he cant just say you had an affair. I agree with everyone else let him go for it it sounds like he will be pi**ing in the wind :-)

  • It's his last stab at dictating how your life is run. Just like when you were together and it was all about him and his beer.

Tell him to take a running jump.
