I don't know about £10 million, and I don't like making promises I can't keep.
However, I have promised my daughter that if I win £6,384,760.00 on the lottery, then she can have that Louis Vuiton? bag:rolleyes:  :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Spend the next couple of years travelling and learning as much as I could

I do worry about the possibility that an Indian Company may bid to run the lottery.
Does that mean that any winners will have to contact a call centre in Bombay?:eek:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I'd love to be able to buy a really nice house and sell it to someone who couldn't afford a decent house for something stupid like £100
Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34
EF #70 £0/£1000

Pay off the debts
Work out how much needs to be invested to give a comfortable monthly income
Give away the rest
Go back to work - I read of so many winners giving up their jobs. No way - I'd get so BORED! Besides research is interesting & I could say :P to EPSRC & fund it myself.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -

Id buy the house each side of the local scumbag family and run free raves everynight till 3am.
Buy as many chelsea season tickets as i could afford and employ people to sit in the seats and boo them!

Mmmmm I LOVE this type of question - thanks OP!
£150,000 to pay off current debts and mortgage
£250,000 to offer our neighbours upstairs to buy them out
£100,000 to convert our house and garden into its old glory of one big old house then rent out
£1,000,000 to buy an amazing big house by the sea in my local area, furniture and a really good cleaner!
£1,000,000 to buy and do up a number of B2L properties (all in Scotland) - rural and city based) (investment for future)
£500,000 an amazing city pad for me and my bloke, fully furnished and with doubles of everything so no lugging bags around
£2,000,000 for each set of folks to spend on whatever they pleased
£1,000,000 in trust for our future children
£500,000 distributed to other family
£500,000 distributed to close friends
£100,000 (up to) to pay off some unsuspecting MSEers debts
£500,000 on an amazing 1/2 year round the world trip for me and my bloke including New York, LA, Nashville, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand etc
£100,000 on an AMAZING wedding
£300,000 split between me and OH to spend on whatever we like!
£500,000 kept safe my and OH's interests as we SO wouldn't work. I would spend all my time doing jewellery/pottery/mosaic/knitting/creative writing classes and just doing yoga in the morning and having fun. OH would spend lots of time writing and recording music I think
£50,000 on an AMAZING wardrobe for me and OH
£250,000 on lots of fancy cars and garage rental to store them in
I loved the idea of investing the rest (just over £1m) and living off the interest and paying a charity subscription with a good chunk of this. I would donate to Shelter Scotland, the Pitutary Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Waverley Care and Children 1st, Help the Aged, Oxfam, Red Cross & 2 arts charities (still to be decided).
We would also have lots of rental income also so hopefully could live on about £4k per month - woo hoo!
Oooooh how exciting! Good luck everyone! Remember and buy your National Lottery ticket online via Pigsback - then you get piggypoints!

Motorbikes and Strongbow0 -
Pay off my debts and my mortgage
Put by enough money for both my kids to live a nice life
Get the car fixed, or even splash out on a new one
House by the sea
Pay off the debts of the DFWs who have helped me get through the past few months. A nice amount to those honorary DFWs who dont have debts.
Finally get someone in to finish all the DIY jobs we havent finished over the years
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
