Window Restricter! Again no idea what I am looking for

Have measured and there's a gap of roughly 3 inches, more at corner. Possible for a small cat to squeeze through, but tight.
We've had this problem with our cats in the past when we couldn't have cat doors fitted and have used the following solutions:
(1) Fix a door chain to the window, but not one of the standard slide in ones, one that has a lock on it.
(2) If you have a small window,( non opening, or lockable) somewhere, get a glazier to fit a cat flap into the window.
Problem with restrictors and chains is that they don't hold the window open and could blow shut in wind. Needs a clever cat to hook paw round and pull open again.0 -
Thank you be Happy. Ive just checked and 3 inches should be fine, my cats head is only about 2inches wide, she is proper tiny. My windows are quite stiff, so they dont really move once they are open, i think I will go with the Jacklock, but will have a quick look at locking door chain. ThanksDebt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0
