50L touch top brabantia bin £40.94 delivered [CLOSED]

BIN
Fantastic deal on the brabantia touch bin at Robert Dyas. RRP apparently £117.89. It's on offer for £44.99 BUT there is a deal for new customers with an extra 20% off when you sign up & make your 1st order before sept 30th.
Hope that helps
hugs
Helen

This is cheap at £35.99 with 20% off - as the 30L touch bin more expensive on same site?

technically its just over £40 actually but thats just being picky lol. It is a lot to spend on a bin however the brabantia brand is fantastic quiality & they also offer a 10 year guarantee on the products & have amazing customer service. Theres no quibbles, no fuss they take your details & send out the replacement part, can't get better than that.
Hopefully someone will find it useful.
& yes p00hbear mad isn't it that you can get the bigger bin for less than the smaller one. I've ordered & can't wait to receive it. Wanted one for years but always missed the offers.

Have to agree here, they are a fab make and if, like me you've spent a lot of money, time and effort on making your new kitchen 'just right', to go and ruin it with a plastic £5 bin would be silly! And anyway, it's a 'touch' bin! Enough said!

Just ordered one thanks for the post. Just seen a similar one at Homebase in chrome or stainless steel for £89.99. So a bargain and the colour I wanted.

I ordered one of these last night when I saw the 20% off. However on the pic its quite grey, yet the smaller one, which is the same colour (according to the info) is a lovely shiney colour.... I hope this is true of the bin that actualy arrives!

I've just checked the Brabantia website and the colour shown in the 30litre picture isn't metallic grey, it's matt steel. Therefore the 50 litre bin will be the one pictured i'm afraid!

Please let us know what it's like when you receive it though!

Ah I see, I did wonder why they looked so different.

No matter though, at that price I can live with grey!

"Protective plastic base". Hmmm, so the whole bin except the lid is plastic?

Silly question I'm afraid... for anyone who's got one of these...
Does this take standard, freely available & cheap 50 black bin bags at 50 for £1 (Poundland), or do you need to buy Brabantia branded bin bags at £3.99 for 10 (or something like that)???
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.
