any recommendations on what Sat Nav would is best to buy for Live traffic updates and routing you around road works ect .

also i read a while back that there was a new type of Sat Nav coming out that people could alert a live database of where mobile Speed cameras were set up . or are they still on the drawing board
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

None are particularly brilliant at the moment. You'd be just as well listening to traffic reports on the radio.

Most sat navs do have that. But you have to download / update them yourself, they don't push to the device while you are driving.

Although you are unsure as to which Satnav to buy I can certainly recommend these people https://www.totalpda.co.uk They do some excellent deals on refurbished satnav's. The one I purchased from them was that good it looked new. Good prices and quick deleivery and a lot more for your money than buying from elsewhere.

If you have a Nokia phone with built in GPS, you can get OVI Maps FREE from Nokia. Its a full turn by turn Satnav complete with traffic updates.

The Road Angel Pro-Connected uses a sim card and updates speed cameras as other users submit them. It is NOT a satnav though, purely a speed camera notifier.
