When's the best time of year for Mobile Contracts
Hi All,
What time of year do Mobile companies tend to do their best deals?
I got a SIM only contract because I want to wait to see if I can get the best SmartPhone deal.
Am i best of getting one I like now, or should I wait until mid summer when people might be on holiday?
Cheers,
Rich

These tend to work better with the non network dealers who have targets to hit (ie P4U/CPW etc) than the networks direct. There isn't one as such but there are some things you can try and think of.
However the 20-25th is usually a good time of the month to get a deal as month end deadlines are looming. If they have not hit a sales make they will be looking to hit it so not drop any bonus's.
March, June, September and December 20-25th are also good times as it the end of the quarter for the same reason.
I've had great deals in the 20-25 timeframe, but to be honest at the moment there are not that many good deals at all from people.0 -
I would actually say the opposite. The good deals seem to come at the beginning of each quarter when new handsets are released. There are usually attractive deals with the latest phones to draw in the punters, but if you are after an older handset then as previously said, just before the new ones come out, end of current quarter.0
