    Glad you and yours are safe and as well as can be expected, and the people around you have been so great, sounds like you live in a nice place!!
    will have to tell my mum about this as she collects glass
    and has it everywhere on window ledges prob not a good idea....

    That's so frightening, i really hope people learn and don't have anything glass/shiny/mirror type on windows or anywhere were the sun got get to it.

    I thought it was an urban legend and scouting story not for real.

    We are due to go on holiday in afew weeks and if it had happened then, god knwos what we would have come home too xxx

    Very frightening.
    When Hubby was a boy they lived in a house with a few of those "bullseye" window panes - you know the ones that are circular? The sun shone through that and burnt a hole in their carpet.
