    Woah, how scary

I'm so glad that you, Evan and everyone are ok......not a nice thing to happen at all, but lovely to hear about everyone pulling together :)

Fingers crossed for a less scary weekend (and some comping fairy dust to make up for it all!)

Thank goodness to whoever your guardian angel is and to your neighbour, they both saved your lives!! I mean who'd have thought that pretty plant pots and sunshine would be fatal! So glad it ended as well as it did.

After hearing your story yesterday I've ordered two fire extinguishers, one up and one down stairs, coz as you said about it involving your electrics I think most home fires probably would.

  • Thank goodness you and your family are ok, makes you wonder if your instinct told you to hang on 5 mins before you left the house. How nice that your neighbours and passers by helped you and the kind Electrician too.

    Glad all is ok xx

So glad you are OK - our garage (separate to the house) burned down about 28 years ago and I still remember the feeling of panic! I can definitely agree with the glass starting the fire though - I used to live near Ashdown Forest and the majority of fires on there start with aan idiot of a litter lout leaving a glass bottle on the ground.
